Bishop Schnase stresses need for radical hospitality
Missouri Area Bishop Robert Schnase told attendees of the 2009 Kansas West Annual Conference that vibrant, fruitful, growing congregations have things in common, and there are certain things they have to do well to fulfill the mission of the church.
Bishop emphasizes measurable goals in State of Conference address
“The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.” With this statement, Kansas Area Bishop Scott Jones opened the State of the Conference address at the 2009 Kansas West Annual Conference. “Mission is the main thing. It’s really all about God.”
Temporary locations found following fire
After a fire caused extensive damage to the Kansas West Conference office in Wichita, temporary locations have been found for the office staff housed in the building. Phone numbers are now operational for the conference office, the bishop's office and the Wichita districts office.
