Kansas West pastor gets third place in GoZone Challenge Written: 9/24/2009 WICHITA—Rev. Randy Jellison-Knock was one of 17 people who tied for first place in the national HealthFlex GoZone Challenge individual competition. To break the tie, a random drawing was conducted for the top individual prizes, with Jellison-Knock being awarded third place. The top finishers each completed more than 870,000 steps during the four-week challenge, which ran from July 15 through Aug. 12. The challenge is part of the Virgin HealthMiles program for Health Flex participants. There were 102 people from the Kansas West Conference participating in the challenge, which had a total of 2,820 people from 30 conferences and the General Board of Pensions and Health Benefits. Two other Kansas West participants with impressive results were Denise Rogers, in 66th place with 692,000 steps, and Michelle Ellis, in 81st with 641,877 steps. There are no comments |
