Kansas Area youth elected to serve

 WICHITA—Michael Rice, a youth from the Kansas East Conference, has been elected youth empowerment advocate to the South Central Jurisdiction Youth Team. He is responsible for intervening if the adult sponsors start to exclude the youth from making decisions on the team.

Tyler Ward, a youth from the Kansas West Conference, and Miriah Anderson, a young adult from the Kansas East Conference, were both selected to attend the Global Young People’ Convocation and Legislative Assembly in Berlin July 21-26, 2010.

Ward is a member of the West Conference Council on Youth Ministry.

Anderson is a former CCYM president for the Kansas East Conference.
