Camp Horizon is 160 acres of woods and trails, rustic lodges and camp sites making it an ideal location for campers to get away from daily life and be closer to God. Horizon is a quiet place for spiritual renewal, with trees and natural beauty that foster a feeling of being away from everyday problems and interruptions.

With accommodations available year-round, Horizon is available for a variety of uses. A new dining hall and meeting facilities at the camp have been completed. Horizon also has six outdoor chapels.

Lakeside United Methodist Center (Camp Lakeside)

Located next to Scott State Lake and Scott State Park, Camp Lakeside is nestled in a canyon just north of K-95 between Oakley and Scott City. The camp's vision is to be faithful to Jesus Christ, providing opportunities for campers of all ages to come into and grow in the Christian faith.

With a total capacity of 140 guests, the camp site features both rustic and year-round accommodations. The camp site is handicap-accessible, and facilities are available for retreats.
