CCYM Events

Outside Our Comfort Zone

When youth come together to have fun, share challenges, struggles and successes, they grow closer to both God and each other.  It gives the youth something in common to share, to talk about.  They learn to depend on  God and each other for different tasks and rely on one another as they accomplish what they set out to do.  Some discover new capabilities which they can't experience by talk alone.  Others discover a gift for leadership.  Yet, they all learn that everyone has unique skills and can contribute in their own significant ways.

"Do not let anyone treat you as if you are unimportant because you are young. Instead be an example to all people with your words, your actions, your love, your faith and your life."   - 1 Timothy 4:12

CCYM Events

MidWinter Retreat (January) - A three-day "spiritual renewal" retreat gathering for high school students.

Confirmation Rally (April) - A two-day education and mission event for middle school/Confirmation students.

Annual Conference (May) - CCYM students have a voice and vote at the KS West Annual Conference.

LEAD Camp (June) - A five-day Christian leadership development camp for middle school students.

LDW Camp (July) - A five-day Christian leadership development camp for high school students.

Kansas West Conference policy states that anyone working with youth, children, or developmentally disabled dependent persons at conference or district events must have conference boundary awareness certification.
