CCYM Mission Trips

We hear so many stories about how bad teenagers are. We see stories in the news about drugs, gangs and all the problems youth face each and every day. We hear people talking about those kids, the problems that youth cause in our community and the storm of adolescence.

But from time to time, we see stories like the following: "Youth Group Rebuilds Home," "Local Teens Mentor Grade School Children," "Youth Collect 3,000 Canned Food Items for Food Bank." In these stories, we see that youth contribute significantly to their churches and their communities.

Youth want to discover the full meaning of faith in their lives. We as a community of faith accept that action and service are vital components of faith; therefore, it is essential that these attributes become an integral part of youth ministry.
